dw100's "fair" challenge. It hurt me to see Tegan run around in high heels all the time, plus I think the Doctor is frustratingly adorable when he's clueless, especially about wimmen. :P Five, Tegan, and Turlough, rated G.
“Shall we go?” The Doctor asked his companions. He looked at Tegan twice. Something was… off.
“Tegan,” the Doctor began. He stared at her, puzzled.
“Yes, Doctor?” Tegan asked.
“Didn’t you used to be taller?” The Doctor asked.
Tegan smiled and pointed to her elegant, flat-heeled shoes. “Bought them at that weird bazaar. Aren’t they gorgeous? I can’t believe how comfortable they are too. It’s not fair that women can’t get these on Earth.”
The Doctor stared after her as she entered the TARDIS. “I don’t understand, Turlough. How does that make her shorter?”
Turlough shrugged. “I haven’t a clue.”
