tinpanalley's birthday! And I have a Giles/Dawn drabble for you! Rated G and fluffy, takes place later in the day after the steamy one here.
The heat of day is mercifully tempered by a storm front and the setting sun. Dawn stretches in the cool clean sheets and listens to the sounds of London drifting in through the open windows.
Giles stirs slightly next to her. She watches him sleep, his face soft and gentle, his chest slowly moving up and down. He’ll start snoring in a minute. Dawn smiles at that. She likes to fuss about his snoring, but it’s somehow reassuring. Reassuring that in their life of danger and the unknown they have this—they have each other.
And she has ear plugs.
