Where fandom and boredom regularly meet

I know this is super duper late, but I'm stuck at the Reference Desk again and so I'm finishing up the last of the drabble requests from, uh, two weeks ago. bogwitch requested Spike/Illyria and liquid. Rated PG, 300 words. It's a bit silly.

Drabble written for dw100's "fair" challenge. It hurt me to see Tegan run around in high heels all the time, plus I think the Doctor is frustratingly adorable when he's clueless, especially about wimmen. :P Five, Tegan, and Turlough, rated G.


“Shall we go?” The Doctor asked his companions. He looked at Tegan twice. Something was… off.

“Tegan,” the Doctor began. He stared at her, puzzled.

“Yes, Doctor?” Tegan asked.

“Didn’t you used to be taller?” The Doctor asked.

Tegan smiled and pointed to her elegant, flat-heeled shoes. “Bought them at that weird bazaar. Aren’t they gorgeous? I can’t believe how comfortable they are too. It’s not fair that women can’t get these on Earth.”

The Doctor stared after her as she entered the TARDIS. “I don’t understand, Turlough. How does that make her shorter?”

Turlough shrugged. “I haven’t a clue.”

“Wesley!” Angel shouted. Wesley ducked just before the demon’s claws reached his face. Angel’s axe sheared off its head.

“You okay, Wes?” Angel asked. Wesley sat on the ground, looking more embarrassed than hurt.

“I’m so sorry. It was my fault. I wasn’t paying attention.” Wesley babbled as Angel helped him up.

“Wes,”

“You want me to go, don’t you?”

“No, Wes, it’s okay.”

“If I hadn’t been distracted you needn’t have--”

Angel kissed him. Wesley sighed with relief.

“You did fine, Wes. You’re not going anywhere.”

“No?” Wesley gazed dreamily at Angel’s mouth.

Angel kissed him again in reply.

Part 2 of the Ten/Giles/Wesley fic. Rated PG-13. This bit's a little shorter than the last one. Still no smut, but lots of talking. They won't shut up. ;)

Part 1 of my as-of-yet-untitled and incomplete Tenth Doctor/Giles/Wesley fic. Takes place during S3 BtVS for Giles and Wes, and after "Doomsday" for the Doctor. This part is PG-13. I plan for it to get R in later parts. Unbetaed and thrown out there. I'll probably edit and tidy it up for later distribution to communities. Here's what I've got so far.

Angel fell in love with the sun. Wesley warned him of the dangers. Angel ignored him and baked.

Angel didn’t understand the difference between California sun and Mississippi sun in summertime.

Whilst tracking a creature feasting on the residents of a coastal FEMA camp, he hit the beach during their first day. Wesley found him that afternoon.

“Finished, or do you require basting?”

Angel snorted.

“Let’s go. I’ve located its lair.”

“Oh, alright.” Angel stood. Suddenly the world went all swirly and purple. He almost barfed.

Wesley’s cool, safe arms held him and comforted him.

“Sun… bad.” Angel finally agreed.
