So I got through all of He Knew He Was Right. Overall predictable and Victorian and lots of the characters I wanted to slap silly, natch, but David Tennant was both funny and rather pitiable as the misguided and befuddled Rev. Gibson. Also, I really really really really really wanted to run my fingers through that long wavy hair of his. Hee hee!

Then it gets mussed! Wheeee!

Lookit the curls around his ears. Hee hee! Ignore the vicar's garb. Or not, if that's your thing. I'll take him anyway I can get him.

This may or may not be related, but I'm pretty darn sure I'm ovulating right now. Hmmm. And I'm going to bed. 'Nite all.

I loved David's character. He's such a goof, a fool, a victim, and ever so clever as well. And he is absolutely adorable.

Hee! The scene where the aunt confronts him in front of the two sisters and their mother was so funny. Poor Mr. Gibson! :D

I would have married him in a heartbeat, wouldn't you?

Oh, that is completely adorable. Look at it! It's all curly and messy and cute!

I really have to watch 'He Knew He Was Right' - it's on my list! This just made me want to watch even more! :P

I'd been putting it off because it was so bloody long and he wasn't a major character, but he and the other minor characters and their storylines are what made it watchable. I found the main story to be dull and tedious.

Meh, now that you say that! I think I'll fast forward to the lovely long-haired, curly wurly David Tennant bits.

(That sounds wrong!)

WHERE CAN I VIEW THIS?! Like, within this weekend?

*iz ded* Why haven't I heard of this before? Haha. I would totally be obsessed with it - as I absolutely adore the longer, curly-esque hair!

♥!

Some people just aren't meant to have tidy hair. That side parting is so very very wrong. I'll have to run my fingers through it to style it properly.

The lady playing his lovely missus in HKHWR will be playing Agatha Christie in the upcoming DW ep.

I wonder if some of those early-2005 pictures of DT with rather longish hair date from right after this - perhaps he'd trimmed but didn't want to cut it too short since he didn't know what the Who team might want to do with his hair.

He had it a bit longish for Casanova too, although I imagine the long bits in the back were hairpieces, but around his face it was also long. Was that 2004 or 2005? I dunno.

His hair just looks so soft in this. Oh, how I want to twist my finger around one of those curls! :D

Casanova aired in 2005, but I don't know when it actually shot. I can't remember whether HKHWR's original airing in the UK was also in 2005, or was 2004.

I like him with his natural chestnut color, m'self. The texture of the hair in Casanova leads me to believe that not all of it is his - assuming the whole thang isn't a wig.

This makes me wonder at what point his hair naturally starts to go curly - assuming it wasn't styled into this look - since he's had at least the top almost that long both on Who and at the RSC.

Well, from what I've seen of his hair in things like Blackpool and this where he doesn't have a ton of product in his hair to make it all scrunchy, it looks like it's rather thick and would probably go wavy in longish spots unless it's been tamed.

Found this picture from when he was younger. It is kind of wavy.

My family (sisters and mum, that is,) just got a whole collection of Trollope DVDs. We affectionately call Gibson here "Reverand Unpleasant," since he's so odd and awkward in HKHWR. The collection also has Alan Rickman in Barchester Towers. Mmm, can't wait to get home and watch handsome Victorian sociopaths...
