You made me cry. My cat Patch died the week before I got married, twelve years ago, and it seems she's been re-incarnated in your Tilly. The exact same markings. Such a sweet cat. *goes off to pat dog forlornly*

I actually have thought about buying something like a falconer's glove or something really thick for when I play with her. She'll play with a toy for awhile and then decide to go for my arm or hand instead--owwwww!!

She has a very purdy belly. I can see why you'd love to just scritch it. My Samantha would let me pet her belly ad nauseum. My cat now, Harry, is the same as Tilly. No belly pets or you just might get bit. And he bites hard too.

I love Tilly's eyes. She's using that voodoo magic she has. Come pet my belly. I'll be nice and gentle with you, human. Come on. You wanna. Then you end up looking like poor Wes.

Tilly's always been an aggressive cat, rarely cuddly and then only on her terms. I can touch the belly when she's super mellow and deep asleep, and then only for a little at a time. Strangely enough she's very much a lap cat, just not much for the pettin's.

My doggie Zooey will not cuddle or show any affection until my alarm clock goes off. Then, she'll run over and snuggle beside me and try to keep me from getting out of bed.

My tiny doggie Zooey won't snuggle unless I take a nap on the couch.

The rest of the time, I'd better not touch them!
