Drabble sequel
Oct. 18th, 2005 02:24 pmAs per request, I have written a sequel to the Wes and Baby!Connor drabble in my last post. This is Wes/Angel, rated G for gratuitous use of schmoop. You might want to have your sugar levels checked after this one, folks.
After the storm died away, a weary and somewhat rattled Wesley took Connor upstairs to await Angel’s return.
Later, Angel discovered them curled on his bed. Wesley was snoring quietly, the baby gently tucked under one arm. Connor lifted his head and gurgled happily when he saw his daddy.
“Shhh!” Angel removed his wet shoes and coat, and climbed onto the bed behind Wesley. Just as Angel was getting settled, he noticed the bear tucked under Wesley’s other arm. He softly kissed Wesley’s neck and caressed Connor’s cheek.
“Thanks for looking out for each other,” he murmured to them both.
